EPFO Increase in the number of defaulting establishment

EPFO issued circular to P.F. Commissioners vide No.: CAIU/011(1)2018/Zero Default/3668 dated 19/06/2018 regarding Increase in the number of defaulting establishment and details as follows.

On analysis of data on Defaulting Establishments for the wage month of April’18 payable in May’18 vis-a-vis previous months, it is observed that the number of Defaulting Establishments in respect of your office has been increasing substantially over months despite repeated instructions to the field formations for making all out efforts to achieve “zero default” as part of Current Default Management.

The performance of your office in this area has been reviewed and increase in default (instead of moving towards “zero current default”) has been noted with serious concern.

CPFC has expressed his displeasure and has desired that the default must be arrested with all sincere efforts with positive results in the report for the wage month May’18 payable in June’18.
